GATEWAY SHOPPING CENTRE
Umhlanga, South Africa

ROLE : Project Management, Principal Agent and Tenant Coordinator

DESCRIPTION : Extension and alterations of the Gateway Shopping Centre in Umhlanga, Durban. This includes 20,000m2 of new GLA, 18,000m2 of repurposed GLA and 32,000m2 of additional parking. The expansion was to allow for new tenants, including H&M, Forever 21 and Hamleys.

DELTA MALL

DESCRIPTION : The first of its kind in the Delta region of Nigeria, the 14,000m2 Shoprite anchored shopping centre in Warri was managed by Turner & Townsend Profica, providing construction and project management services as well as tenant coordination.

DESCRIPTION : New build of 168 key 4-Star+ hotel development with the associated Novotel Hotel amenities. An iconic design to rival other similar 4-Star developments locally and globally. Designed to achieve EDGE certification.

YORK COMMERCIAL PARK
Lusaka, Zambia

ROLE : Project and Development Management

DESCRIPTION : A 44 hectare Logistics Park Development on Kafue road south of the Lusaka city centre. Turner & Townsend Profica managed this development from agricultural land to the construction of the services and infrastructure, including warehousing for this high tech logistics park.

NETCARE ALBERTON HOSPITAL
Alberton, South Africa

ROLE : Project Management and Principal Agent

DESCRIPTION : Construction of greenfield 70,000m², 427-bed multi storey level 1 trauma hospital with 829 parkings, 12 theatres, Cardiac Centre of Excellence, medical and surgical ICU’s and medical and surgical wards. Part of the facility is 65 doctor suites and all required amenities for a hospital.

GUGULETHU SQUARE SHOPPING CENTRE

DESCRIPTION :
New build of a 27,000m² Shopping Centre in Gugulethu, Cape Town. Involved from inception, Turner & Townsend Profica successfully delivered this new build shopping centre to form a Central business district in Gugulethu.

DESCRIPTION :
 New build of 271 Key, 5 star hotel with specialty restaurant and conferencing facilities. Turner & Townsend Profica included part way through to construction close-out.

ZIMMER BIOMET WAREHOUSE & OFFICE BUILDING

ROLE :  Tenant Project Management

DESCRIPTION : Full tenant representative solutions on behalf of the client to monitor and review the construction programme, interior design facilitation and occupier fit-out for a new warehouse and office building at Waterfall City.

DESCRIPTION : Project management for an award winning development, a new A grade office park in Accra consisting of 3 separate buildings. This development received the African Property Award for Best Office Development in Ghana in 2013-2014.

GARDEN CITY

DESCRIPTION :
Construction and completion of a mixed use precinct, with Phase 1 consisting of 35,000m2 of high end shopping and entertainment in a 2 level mall, a luxury residential development, all in a public parkland. Turner & Townsend Profica were the lead project managers.
