As Project Leaders, we proactively drive our client’s visions, adopting the best and most innovative Green & Sustainability aspects for construction projects across all the sectors and regions in which we have influence. In South Africa, we were the first specialist Construction Project Management company to become a member of the Green Building Council and we actively participated in the formulation of a number of the Green Building rating tools, leading from the front. Our Designers have Designed, and our Construction Managers have Built innovative and sustainable workplaces across the African continent. Our Project Managers have led teams to deliver Green rated projects in West, East and Southern Africa. This includes internationally recognized rating tools such as:

Stella precinct

From having been appointed the lead project managers in 2014 to manage the development of the Stella Precinct in the heart of Sandton until handover in 2017, Profica is incredibly proud to see that this intensive, iconic project is now at completion. Situated in South Africa’s financial and business hub, the development for Old Mutual has been an audacious undertaking, involving multiple stakeholders and hundreds of personnel - from engineers to hard-hatted construction workers - working tirelessly over an almost three-year period.

Profica was appointed the Tenant Project Managers for the new build of 20,0000m² lettable area for the New Head Quarters for Group Five, consolidating all Gauteng based business units into one co-located office which includes basement parking and Central Atrium linking the various buildings/ wings.
Designed as a Green Star rated building as well as being a sustainable and efficient building.

Turnkey delivery, including project management and design services for the design and fit out of new offices. The scope included the consolidation of the existing East Africa office and P&I offices into one location in new premises, located in “The Promenade” building. Awarded Green Star Certification by Kenya Green Building Society.

IRelocation of Rockefeller’s current office in collaboration with the ARO team to manage and oversee planning, bidding, designing, sub-contracting, obtaining permits & registrations, building, purchasing furnishings, as well as all other tasks. Awarded Green Star Certification by Kenya Green Building Society.

Adopting the latest Activity Based Workplace solution (ABW) as per the standard Ericsson Technical Building Requirements (TBR) and Ericsson Workplace Design (EWD) policies, this new office has 216 Workstations completed to the highest standards. 3,200m² GLA. Awarded GBSA Certification for this fit-out.
