Profica’s talent acquisition strategy reaping rewards

A recent addition to Profica’s strong Johannesburg team is Godfrey Ajusi, who has joined as a senior manager.

With a BSc (Hons) in Construction Management obtained at the University of the Witwatersrand, Godfrey has a diverse range of experience gained through working for heavyweights such as Anglo Gold and Grinaker at the start of his career, to co-founding and managing his own construction and project management services company, Contibuild Africa.

Godfrey’s expertise includes the management and reporting on large-scale projects; monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes; and wide liaison with varied departments such as procurement, land developers and municipality teams, and on site managers to ensure implementation of the client’s policies and goals. Particularly noteworthy was a vast construction project under Godfrey’s management and reporting which included multiple construction sites and almost 500 stakeholders gathered into business units of 60 to 90 people.

Godfrey is a professionally registered construction project manager with the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) and the Association of Construction Project Managers (ACPM). He says, “My goal is to ensure that I am at the forefront of this industry’s innovation and best practice implementation.”

Godfrey joins at a senior level within the organisation, where his talent and experience will be highly valued.
