Profica’s strong capabilities in the industrial and logistics sector have recently been called upon by a global logistics provider who required a qualified and experienced company to undertake client representation in a new warehousing and office build. Beukes van Heerden, Profica Project Manager, says that the logistics company required client representation on the project so as to monitor the technical aspects of the build and ensure that the construction was to a superior standard. This was critical for the client should they execute an option to purchase the development at a later stage.
Beukes says, “Profica’s mandate has been to ensure that our client’s requirements, as the tenant, have been closely adhered to, with the ultimate goal of safeguarding their potential investment in terms of developing high-quality specifications that will meet their business requirements. Given our expertise in facilitating multi-stakeholder projects across different sectors, we were able to gain a clear insight into what was required in order to meet both requirements, namely as tenant and potential investor.”
