One on one with Winnie Malatji

Continuing our Women’s Month series, another of our fantastic fearless females is Winnie Malatji. Winnie is Profica head office’s ‘front of house’ and everyone who come through Profica’s doors will find her smiling a warm welcome at the reception desk.

Tell us a bit more about what YOU bring to the Profica team?

As the first person who people meet as they either visit or call Profica’s offices, my aim is to be friendly, warm and welcoming. For some visitors, I may be the first person that they will meet from Profica, and I take this responsibility very seriously. When I come to work, I dedicate myself to being calm and caring. I love working with and meeting new people so I find this job very rewarding.

This Women’s month what is your dream for women in your industry?

My dream is that all our women representatives in this industry feel strong as a team, and protect one another. We each are responsible for growing together, not only for ourselves but for Profica and the industry. I hope that every women will feel like they are winners in our industry.

How does Profica elevate the work and might of great women within the organisation?

From my perspective, the entire team at Profica is always supportive and helpful. We are all treated as equals and included in discussions and important company events. I think that as women we are made to feel that our rights and opinions count.
