Profica manages Northpoint Industrial Park from Cape Town

Construction and property solutions company Profica is the project manager and principal agent for Northpoint Industrial Park, a new light industrial development including premium warehousing in Cape Town.

Experienced project manager Donia Kamstra, based in Cape Town, is managing the project for client G5 Properties. The ground was broken in April 2016, with the top structure construction initiated in mid-September 2016.

The site is being developed in three phases. Phase 1 is 16 954m2, Phase 2 is 18 307m2 and Phase 3 is 14 411m2. Phase 1, consisting of ten premium units, is due to be completed by the end of August 2017.

Each unit includes spacious warehousing with modern offices, generous internal stacking heights of 11 metres, excellent security, ample yard space and parking areas. The reception tower of each warehouse is prominently placed and gives access to the mezzanine office pods located above the warehouse doors. A 5 metre cantilevered awning roof projects over the docking bays. The warehouse walls, facing the yards, are constructed of durable tilt-up concrete systems, minimising the risk of damage.

Situated only 25 kilometres from Cape Town International Airport in the heart of the northern suburbs, Northpoint Industrial Park is set to be a new hotspot in the Western Cape for light industrial users. The harbour is also easily accessible, as are all major inland routes. The site is well located with respect to other industrial hubs, such as Brackenfell and Okavango industrial parks.
